This is one of my favorite food shows in Florence.
This weekend, February 3-5 at the Fortezza del Basso, over 640 stands on all elements of food and cooking. David Paolini has hand-picked some of Italy’s best.More than just food, there are also speakers and events held off site around town.
The show is mostly for buyers but is open to the public in the afternoon. There are many tastings, and on the way out, there is a fabulous shop where you can buy the products you tasted. I adore this as often these are not available locally.
The events held around town are created to host the visiting producers to showcase their products. They pair up with local chefs and restaurants for a variety of events. Cocktails, dinners, tastings and more.
Here is the calendar of events.
Taste costs 25 euro per person
open to the public:
2.30 to 6.30pm on Saturday and Sunday
