All I Want For Christmas…2012

December 15, 2012 by Divina Cucina

All I want for Christmas is Peace.

Today’s news of the massacre of children in USA is disgusting.

Italy is falling apart and the corrupt Berlusconi is threatening to run again for office after putting Italy in this horrible position.

I do not feel like celebrating xmas this year.

Call me a grinch, but really?

What is there to celebrate?

Bring on 2013 and praying it will be better.

Thank you for this beautiful and peaceful photo. I wish I had a print of this serene setting, I think just viewing it today has helped.

2012 has been a rough year, so many massacres here in the states, extreme weather conditions destroying communities and taking lives, I was so looking forward to the New Year last year. We can only hope and pray for a better world in 2013. xo

One does have to wonder what is going on in our world! Each year doesn’t seem to get any better. BTW what is this about Berlusconi wanting to run for office? The man should never see the light of day!

    Hi Judy,

I hear you. It’s been a bad year, and sometimes it seems that everywhere I look I see awful things going on. Let’s hope 2013 is a lot better. Thanks for a moving message. And I send my warmest wishes to you and your husband for a peaceful, but merry Christmas.

    Hi Judy,

I understand how you feel. Vicki and I have been very saddened and emotional about the event that happened in Connecticut. For us, Xmas is the opportunity to celebrate the love and compassion we feel for you and all our family and friends throughout the world. This includes our great friends and acquaintances in our beloved Italia. We are joined together by our love of food, companionship, and the opportunity to connect and enjoy the bounties that have been given us. We are truly lucky to have these wonderful benefits in our lives. Despite all the sorrows in the world at this time, we look forward to our return to Italy in May, and the rejuvenation that this beautiful country always brings us. Thank you for being a part of it.

    Bob
