I’m Italian (French, if I change a few things). My Hubby? Italian, as well, Dutch if he changes one thing, Swedish if he changes two.
Found you by way of searching for Italian blogs by the way. I also discovered Joanna, who mentioned you. Hubby and I are considering a trip out there for our fifth anniversary and either way I love the thought of Italy. Hope you don’t mind!
I was French, then Italian.. But that is true! My granfather was French and I studied French for 13 years ,plus, was a pastry chef, which really does it!

My Inner European is Dutch. Which is appropriate & a bit remarkable, considering my Dutch ancestry.
Apparently you can favor seafood & veg & still be Dutch!
